People Just Do Nothing character to release How To Be A Man

People Just Do Nothing’s Chabuddy G – as played by Asim Chaudhry –  is to publish his first book.

The Kurupt FM character’s guide to  How To Be A Man is to be released on November 1, publishers HarperNonFiction have announced today.

He explained: ‘’Are men supposed to be fighters? Lovers? Hunter- gatherers? Fashionistas? Business gurus? Culinary experts? You’re wrong if you think one man can’t be a jack and a master of all trades.

‘In How To Be A Man, I’ll show you how to be a veritable god amongst men. So, sit back, relax, light a candle if you want – I don’t judge – and let your glorious masculine juices flow’.

Zoe Berville, editor for HarperNonFiction, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from agents  Gordon Wise and Debi Allen at Curtis Brown.

She said: ‘Chabuddy’s approached me several times with various different publishing "opportunities". He’s very persistent. However he’s agreed to buy back half a million copies of How To Be A Man so really it was a no brainer.’

According to the mythology, Harper Collins has brought Chabuddy ’s publishing company Ladym8 Press  – offering ‘books for the alpha reader, by the ultimate alpha author’.

Chabuddy explained: ‘So these two geezers – Harper and Collin – have bought my publishing business, LadyM8 Press.

‘I have run many businesses in my time as an ultrapaneer and almost every single one of them has been an epic failure. Did this stop us? No mate.

‘How To Be A Man is going to be the bestselling book of the year – hands-down. Just when you thought my bow couldn’t handle any more strings, I only go and become bloody a published author.’

The book will be released as a hardback and as an audio book.
