Rick And Morty is to get 70 new episodes, co-creator Justin Roiland has announced.
The animated show, about a cynical alcoholic scientific genius and his wide-eyed grandson has been a massive hit for Adult Swim.
But only 31 episodes have been made so far, making tonight’s news a massive expansion.
Roiland, who created the show for Cartoon Network's late-night programming block with Community creator Dan Harmon, announced the extra episodes in a tweet:

There have typically been two-year gaps between series. With then first in 2013, the in 2015 and three last year, but there is no official word on when the new episodes will air.
The order brings Rick And Morty up to the magic number of 100 episodes normally required for syndication on cable TV stations.
Kanye West was among those who tweeted delight at tonight’s news, saying: ‘This is the greatest news. This is my favorite show. I’ve seen every episode at least 5 times each.'
