It's the full Monty
This week's comedy on demand… and this week it's all about Netflix
Monty Python
The troupe's back catalogue has landed on Netflix, with all their movies including Holy Grail and Life of Brian, their live reunion show recorded at London's O2 in 2014, as well as the entire original BBC series of Monty Python's Flying Circus. There's also Monty Python's Fliegender Zirkus, which initially aired on Germany's ARD, and the collections Monty Python's Personal Best, Monty Python Conquers America, Monty Python's Almost the Truth and The Meaning of Monty Python and Monty Python's Best Bits (mostly). Eric Idle's 2012 film, What About Dick?, which also featured Russell Brand, Billy Connolly, Tim Curry, Eddie Izzard and Jane Leeves, has also been added.
The Honeymoon Standup Special
Netflix has released a new three-part comedy special from Natasha Leggero and Moshe Kasher, newly married to each other and filmed while Leggero was pregnant. Each stand-up has their own special and for the third part the couple take to the stage together to talk the members of the audience. Watch here
Simon Amstell: Numb
The introspective comedian's 2012 special has just landed on Netflix, in which he mulls loneliness and romance... naturally. Watch
Eddie Murphy: Delirious
And those Netflix stand-up specials keep coming. For also arriving on the service this week is Murphy's seminal 1993 show – the one with the red leather suit and the blatant homophobia. Watch here
Jason Byrne: Cirque Du Byrne
The madcap Irish comic's 2012 show is also new to Netflix. Watch here.
National Lampoon's Animal House
The granddaddy of college movies created a template for hedonistic male excess that so many others have tried to follow. Forty years after its release, John Landis's celebrated 1978 comedy featuring John Belushi, Kevin Bacon and Donald Sutherland is new to the on-demand service here.
