Mel Giedroyc writes her first novel
The Best Things is out next summer
Mel Giedroyc is to write her first novel.
The Best Things is described as ‘a feel-good comedy about the ups and downs of life’.
It tells the story of a family who ‘lose everything, only to find themselves, and each other, along the way’, according to publishers Headline Review.
Little more is known of the plot, except that the central couple Sally and Frank Parker are left with nothing after a visit from the bailiffs.
The book will be published in August next year and is available to order here.
Former Bake Off host and Taskmaster contestant Giedroyc previously wrote two humorous guides to pregnancy and childbirth, From Here To Maternity in 2005 and Going Ga Ga in 2007.
