Tour of memorabilia returns this summer

The pop-up exhibition of all things Friends is returning to the UK this summer.

Comedy Central, which screens more than seven hours of the 1990s sitcom a day, has announced that FriendsFest will be touring six locations from July 6 to September 30, following the success of a similar tour last year.

The exhibition includes replicas of both main apartments – Monica’s, and Joey and Chandler’s –  and this year adds Ross’s, too.

Fans can recreate the title sequence and a scene in which Ross, Rachel and Chandler tried to pivot a sofa up the staircase that was last year voted the best scene of the entire series.

Visitors will be able to see memorabilia and dress up in outfits and wigs before going on set for their selfie moments. There will also be Friends themed food stalls, a cocktail bar and a Friends quiz.

The tour dates are below, with tickets available tomorrow for those who sign up at www.comedycentral.co.uk/friendsfest before midnight tonight, then on general sale from Thursday. Tickets cost £27.50 including booking fee.

Glasgow Victoria Park: July 6-15
Newcastle Castle Farm Fields: July 20-29
Manchester Heaton Park: August 3-12
Bristol Blaise Castle Estate: August 24 – September 3
Brighton Preston Park: September 7-16
London, Kennington Park: September 21-30
