QI goes to Latitude
The QI team are to perform a live edition of their panel show at this year’s Latitude Festival.
Sandi Toksvig and Alan Davies will be appearing with a celebrity panel of other performers from the festival, all trying trying to avoid the dreaded klaxon.
Davies – who will also be performing a stand-up set at the festival – said: ‘I’m very much looking forward to The Klaxons of Latitude - probably my favourite Dr. Who characters.’
And Toksvig added: ‘The last time I presented QI Live – at the University of Kent – I was offered the job of permanent host. Can’t wait to see what they come up with this time…’
Other comedy names announced today include Dylan Moran Mark Thomas, Marcus Brigstocke, Nick Mohammed, John Kearns and Adam Buxton, who will be performing tenth anniversary edition of his show Bug, about music videos and the online comments beneath them.
Sketch trio Pappy’s will be presenting a live version of their podcast panel show Flatshare Slamdown. They won’t be the only podcasters at Latitude: Ed Miliband will be attending with radio presenter Geoff Llaoyd for their Reasons To Be Cheerful show.
As previously announced, Harry Hill, and Bridget Christie will be headlining the comedy programme, with The Killers, Alt-J, Solange performing on the main stage.
Other comics announced today are Tom Allen, Alex Edelman, Matt Richardson, Sheeps, Tom Lucy, Desiree Burch, Emma Sidi, Jake Lambert, Jen Brister, Ed Night, Jack Barry. Maisie Adam, Amy Annette and Joanne McNally.
The 13th edition of Latitude takes place on July 12 to 15 in Henham Park, Suffolk. Tickets are available
