Tickets on sale now

Doug Stanhope has announced five more UK dates as part of his 2018 tour.

The outspoken American comic has added dates at the O2 Arenas in Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow and Brixton, South London, this June.

And ticket went on sale today.

The new engagements are in addition to the gig at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on June 16 that had previously been announced.

It is part of a global tour which takes in the Far East in March and Australia in April.

Stanhope’s material covers abortion, child abuse, racism and rape, and in a recent interview he said: ‘I gravitate towards subjects that are controversial because that’s what’s interesting to me. I have no take on the Kardashians. I don’t watch it, it doesn’t affect my life.’
