No big surprise given the revelations about his conduct

Louis CK’s animated comedy The Cops is officially dead.

America’s TBS network has confirmed that it has dropped the ten-episode series altogether,  two months after it suspended production.

Dozens of animators were left out of work just before Thanksgiving when work stopped on the show when stories about the comedian’s sexual misconduct became public.

CK created the show with Albert Brooks, and the pair were to have voiced the two lead characters.

Separately, the FX network this weekend announced that an investigation into CK’s behaviour uncovered no new allegations.

Chief executive John Landgraf said his company had found no complaints in the eight years the comedian worked for the broadcaster from 2009, when he launched his sitcom Louie.

The Cops was also originally developed for FX through its production arm.

In November,  five women came forward to tell the New York Times about disturbing encounters with CK, dating from the late 1990s to 2005. He later admitted their stories, which included him masturbating in front of women, were true.
