The fallout continues

Claims of Louis CK’s inappropriate sexual behaviour have now cost him a Netflix special.

The streaming service had signed him up for two stand-up shows – the first of which, 2017, was released in April.

However in the wake of five women coming forward with allegations against him, the company has now dropped the  second special, which had not yet been produced.

A spokesman told Hollywood website Deadline: ‘The allegations made by several women in The New York Times about Louis C.K.’s behaviour are disturbing.

‘Louis’s unprofessional and inappropriate behaviour with female colleagues has led us to decide not to produce a second stand up special, as had been planned.’

His earlier specials, Hilarious,  Live at the Beacon Theater and Live at the Comedy Store are also available on Netflix.

News of the special being dropped comes as distributors scrapped the release of his new movie I Love You, Daddy.

HBO already axed CK from a Night Of Too Many Stars comedy benefit that it plans to broadcast next Saturday and dropped all his past projects from its on-demand service. 

CK’s representatives have yet to comment on the unfolding story.
