Keep Calman Carry On renewed

Radio 4 has renewed Susan Calman’s comedy show Keep Calman Carry On.

The series involves the comedian and current Strictly Come Dancing contestant trying to learn how to relax by trying new leisure pursuits.

It’s part stand-up, and part documentary and in previous episodes she tried hill-walking with Muriel Grey and appreciating art with Phill Jupitus. The episode in which she watches cricket with Andy Zaltzman will be repeated at 11.30am next Monday.

In the new series, she tries birdwatching with Emma Kennedy, gardening with crime writer Val McDermid, festivals with Robin Ince and baking with 2016 Great British Bake Off star Selasi Gbormittah.

Calman will be recording the stand-up sessions for the new episodes at Up The Creek in Greenwich, South London, next month. See our free tickets page for details of how to apply to be in the studio audience.
