Chris Rock announces UK tour

First live dates in a decade

Chris Rock has announced his first British comedy tour in ten years.

The Total Blackout Tour will comprise seven arena dates in  January 2018 in Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Glasgow, Birmingham and London.

The comic has also insisted that audiences on the tour place their phones and other devices in secure pouches that are only unlocked at the end of the show.

As well as his stand-up, Rock will this summer will be reuniting with Adam Sandler on the Netflix’  movie, The Week Of, about a week building up to the wedding between Sandler’s character’s daughter and Rock’s character’s son.

Netflix paid a reported $40 million to lure Rock back to stand-up, for two comedy specials that will air exclusively on the streaming service.
