DARA & ED'S ROAD TO MANDALAY: They’ve done the Pan-American Highway, now best pals Dara O Briain and Ed Byrne embark on a 3,000 trip around South East Asia, kicking off in Malaysia, where they visited one of the nation’s first comedy clubs. Then they travel through the Malaysian peninsula, taking part in a chicken beauty pageant, before crossing into Thailand where they learn how the worst excesses of tourism are affecting Phuket's wildlife. The trip then takes them north to a Buddhist monastery to experience one of the world's toughest detoxes, before entering Myanmar and ending their journey in Mandalay, in the third and final episode. TWO RONNIES' SPECTACLE: Gold repeats this three-part 2013 series looking behind the scenes of the double act, with interviews (including one with Ronnie Corbett) interspersed with some classic sketches. 8pm

JOHN CLEESE PRESENTS: For the first time in his career, John Cleese tries his hand at being a BBC radio DJ, presenting not records, but stories and sketches based on his autobiography, So, Anyway. It co-stars, Harriet Carmichael and Peter Dickson. Radio 4, 9.30am.

TONIGHT AT THE LONDON PALLADIUM: Pippa Evans gets some primetime ITV exposure as the comedy guest on this week’s variety extravaganza, hosted by Bradley Walsh. ITV, 8pm
