Fleabag WILL be back

Phoebe Waller-Bridge speaks of second series

Fleabag is coming back for a second series, creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge has revealed.

The writer and star of the BBC's breakout comedy hit says she hopes to shoot another series in November for broadcast next year.

'We are all trying to make it work and have the same team back,' she told Radio Times at the  Broadcasting Press Guild Awards.

She had vowed only to bring the series back if she had an idea that was good enough - but now says: 'I think I have one.' Although she won't reveal what that is

Fleabag started life as a  one-woman stage show at London's Soho Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe before being picked up by BBC Three. The cast of series one also included Bill Paterson as the central character's uncaring dad, and Olivia Colman as her passive-aggressive stepmother.
