UK tour for Storage Hunters star
Storage Hunters host Sean Kelly is going on his first stand-up tour of the UK.
The auctioneer and comedian will take to the road in September following a run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
He will be joined on tour by T-Money and Green Mile from the US version of Storage Hunters – both are Los Angeles-based stand-ups, whose real names are Tarrell Wright and Cameron Rowe.
All three will perform stand-up sets in the show, which will also feature a charity auction. Audience members are encouraged to bring along a 'cheeky' item from home, to be sold off in aid of Help for Heroes.
Kelly said: ‘I can't wait to get back out on the road and see all the fans out there.’
He has received a huge career boost thanks to Storage Hunters – and now even has a fruit machine based on him and his show.
The programme involves bidders buying the contents of self-storage lockers whose owners fall behind on their bills. However the bidders can only view the items from the door of the unit.
It originally ran from 2011 to 2013 On Tru TV in the States, but after becoming a hit on the Dave channel, a UK version was launched the following year, which has run for five series plus six celebrity shows – with a sixth series in the pipeline
His 25-night tour kicks off at the Lancaster Grand on September 29 and ends at Birmingham Town Hall on October 28. Click here for dates and tickets.
