Standing in for Sara Cox next week

Ellie Taylor will be making her Radio 2 presenting debut next week.

The comedian will be sitting in for Sara Cox on Monday and Tuesday, presenting the early evening show from 6.30pm.

She said: ‘It’s a real pinch-me moment to say that I’ll be presenting shows on my favourite radio station, broadcasting to millions of listeners whilst playing some of the best music in the world. I cannot wait to get behind that iconic Radio 2 microphone and overshare with the nation.’ 

Taylor has previously fronted comedy shows on Radio 4 and a relationship-based show on Heart.

She is known for playing Sassy in Ted Lasso, is the co-host of Bake Off: The Professionals, and has taken part in Celebrity Gladiators and Strictly Come Dancing.
