This week's best comedy shows on demand.
Other Space
Once described as 'Red Dwarf USA, take two', Other Space is a sci-fi comedy series originally made for Yahoo! Screen in 2015 by Ghostbusters director Paul Feig and revolving around an inexperienced spaceship crew who falls through a wormhole into a parallel universe. The streaming service has since died, but now the rights have reverted to Feig who has made it available to everyone to watch here, without the restrictions which originally blocked non-US viewers. Feig is now trying to revive interest in the show so it gets a second season… from somewhere. Happy to help.
Robert Newman's Entirely Accurate Encyclopaedia of Evolution
Challenging received wisdom about natural selection, with plenty of jokes thrown in, this informative and funny series last week won Newman a BBC Audio Drama Award. All four episodes are available to listen here.
Search Party
The critically-acclaimed mystery comedy series is available as an All 4 box set. Search Party centres on Dory, a fragile, frustrated doormat stuck in a stale relationship who comes across a missing person flyer for an old college acquaintance and decides to make it her life mission to find her, dragging her circle of millennials into her investigation. The Sun called it 'Girls meets Agatha Christie.'
Brass Eye
Want to feel old? It was 20 years ago that Chris Morris's darkly satirical Brass Eye first hit Channel 4 screens. With the broadcaster putting fake news under the spotlight this coming week, what more excuse do you need to rediscover it? On All4 now.
