Hannibal Buress joins Spider-Man: Homecoming

Shooting starts this summer

Hannibal Buress has landed a role in the new Spider-Man: Homecoming movie.

It is not known what part he will play in a script that has been kept under tight wraps. But Hollywood trade paper Variety reports that shooting will start this summer, for a release in July 2017.

Tom Holland, the son of stand-up Dominic Holland, will be playing the superhero, reprising the role he first played in Captain America: Civil War.

Marisa Tomei will play Aunt May, while comedian and rapper Donald Glover has also been signed up for an unknown role.

Buress will be increasingly seen in movies with a part in the forthcoming Baywatch reboot, voicing a character inThe Secret Life of Pets and appearing in The Masterpiece, about the making of dreadful cult film The Room.
