Tickets released for Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle

Be in the audience

Audience tickets have been released for the fourth series of Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle.

The six-part series will be recorded over three nights at its usual home – the Mildmay Club in Stoke Newington, North London – next month.

According to the BBC, themes this series including patriotism, wealth, Islamophobia, the migrant crisis, death, and childhood memories.

Lee said: 'For each new series of Comedy Vehicle I wonder where the ideas will come from. But the world gets worse every year, and I myself become older and more jaded, more defeated, and more powerless, and hence the comedy arises once more.'

As well as the stand-up, the show will again feature Lee grilled by script editor Chris Morris, and each episode will conclude in a short film.

Richard Webb, executive producer for the BBC, added: 'I'm not quite sure how he does it, but once again Stewart has put together three hours of brilliant stand-up material, and will be unleashing his unique take on the world on BBC Two early next year.'
