David Morgan heads to I'm A Celeb jungle
Stand-up David Morgan is to join the hosting team on reality TV spin-off series I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Now!
He replaces fellow comic Rob Beckett on the ITV2 show. Beckett is said to have quit to concentrate on his live tour.
Morgan tweeted this morning: 'It's been pretty hard keeping this a secret. I'm off to the @imacelebrity jungle and I can't wait '
Presenter Laura Whitmore and former EastEnders star Joe Swash will also be returning to the show
In a statement, Morgan added: 'I'm super excited to be joining Laura and Joe in the jungle to share my thoughts on this year's campmates. I love I'm A Celeb and can't believe I get to be there and see it all for real. I just hope I can find a jungle proof hairspray.'
Beckett has hosted I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Now! since 2012, and also presents the Rock'N'Roll Football Sunday show on Absolute Radio.
Morgan was previously a regular on ITV2's comedy panel show Safeword, alongside Katherine Ryan.
I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Now! will air every night on ITV2 after the main ITV show, which returns next month.
