FREE tickets have just been released to be in the studio audience of the tenth series of Russell Howard's Good News, which returns to BBC Two later this month. The tapings take place at the London Studios, starting on October 20. See our free tickets page for details of how to apply.

HARRY HILL has begun filming the second Professor Branestawm film, to air on BBC One this Christmas. The plot involves the eccentric character entering an inventing competition against the self-professed genius, Professor Algebrain, to be played by Steve Pemberton. Other new cast members include Dame Diana Rigg and Bob Mortimer (as Professor Awfulshirt) while Simon Day, Vicki Peperdine, Charlie Higson, Simon Day and David Mitchell all return.

KEVIN HART has added two more arena shows to his arena tour, What Now? He will now visit the Birmingham Barclaycard Arena on January 15 and and a second date at London's O2 on January 17. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Saturday.

NO British shows have been nominated for the best comedy show at the International Emmy Awards. However Sky's 50 Ways to Kill your Mammy is shortlisted for best non-scripted entertainment and Rafe Spall is up for best actor for his role in the White Christmas episode of Black Mirror.

MARTIN FREEMAN, Hugh Bonneville, Jennifer Saunders and Rob Brydon will be lending their voices to an animated adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's children's book Stick Man for BBC One this Christmas.
