New podcast for Dave

Mike Wozniak is to front a new gameshow, to be released as a podcast from digital channel Dave.

The Man Down star will be the titular Mr Gameshow, as he oversees a 'sometimes ridiculous' contest between two comedians and team-mates they have chosen from the audience.

Fellow comic Diane Morgan – also known as Philomena Cunk from Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe – will act as his sidekick.

Guests lined up to appear over the six episodes include Lucy Porter, Morgana Robinson, Isy Suttie, John Robins, Nick Helm and Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Sam Simmons

Mr Gameshow will be recorded in front of a live audience at The Soho Theatre on Sundays October 4, 11 and 25, and is scheduled to be released in November.

Dave's podcasts have preciously included Alex Horne Breaks The News and The Magic Sponge, a football-based programme with Jimmy Bullard, Rob Beckett and Ian Smith.
