A knight at the movies
Monty Python and the Holy Grail is to be re-released in cinemas to mark its 40th anniversary – but as a singalong version.
The 1975 classic will be screened in more than 500 British cinemas for one night only, Wednesday October 14.
Audiences will be encouraged to dress up as characters from the film, and well as sing along to tunes such as Camelot Song (Knights of the Round Table)
And the screening will be accompanied by a filmed introduction from Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and John Cleese.
The event will also help promote the release of a 40th anniversary Blu-ray edition later this autumn.
Last year's Python reunion gigs at London's O2 were streamed to 450 UK cinemas and another 1,500 worldwide., while previous films to have been given the singalong treatment include The Sound Of Music, Frozen and Dirty Dancing.
