R4 orders library sitcom
With Morwenna Banks and Rebecca Front
Morwenna Banks and Rebecca Front are to star in a new Radio 4 sitcom based in a library.
The pair also wrote Shush!, which will be recorded in front of a live studio audience in London next month.
Front, pictured plays Alice, a former child prodigy who's scared of everything, while Absolutely star Banks plays Snoo, 'a slightly confused individual with a have-a-go attitude to life'. The BBC says the characters are the 'most unlikely pairing since Mills met Boon'.
The show also stars comedy actors Ben Willbond and Michael Fenton-Stevens; and is being made by Pozzitive, who previously made Cabin Pressure, Thanks a Lot, Milton Jones! and Armando Iannucci's Charm Offensive for Radio 4.
