Fast Fringe line-up announced

From a child stand-up to a giant sad clown...

The line-up has been announced for this year's Chortle Fast Fringe.

Arthur Smith will again host the event, featuring almost 30 comedy and variety acts heading to the Edinburgh Fringe.

The diverse bill at London's Leicester Square Theatre includes a 12-year-old stand-up (Grace The Child), a 6ft 8in melancholy clown with a haunting baritone (Puddles Pity Party) and Goth undertaker Seymour Stiffs.

It also boasts the best of the stand-up circuit including Hal Cruttenden, Tiffany Stevenson, Kevin Day, Ed Aczel, Nish Kumar, John Robins and 2014 best newcomer winner Alex Edelman and nominee Dane Baptiste.

The show takes place on Sunday July 5, and tickets are available priced £16 (£13 concs) here

The line-up is completed by Danielle Ward, Damien Slash, Fin Taylor, Funmbi Omatayu, Phil Jerrod, Michael J Dolan, Ali Brice, John Hastings, Amy Howerska, Spencer Jones as The Herbert, Yve Blake, Jess Robinson, Tez Ilyas, Jack Barry, Beth Vyse, Charles Booth and Jonny Awsum.

The announcement comes on the day the official Fringe programme is launched, boasting 3,314 shows. Fast Fringe will also take place at 6.40pm at the Pleasance Dome throughout the Fringe. Tickets for Edinburgh shows are available here
