Still Game does the double
Still Game has scooped two prizes at the second Scottish comedy awards.
The live version of the sitcom performed at the Hydro in Glasgow last year were named best event and the broadcast version, best TV show.
In the best event category Still Game beat The Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony, Eddie Izzard's Scotland Please Don't Go fundraising gig for Better Together and The Stand comedy club's Aye Right? How No? Referendum Night satirical show.
In the TV category Still Game Live fought off competition from Mrs Brown's Boys and Bob Servant
Kevin Bridges won the Award for best TV comedian ahead of Frankie Boyle, who won the online award for his BBC iPlayer only programme Referendum Autopsy
The award for outstanding contribution to Scottish comedy went to Ben Verth for creating and curating the Scottish Comedy Festival as part of the Edinburgh Fringe.
Tonight’s ceremony, at Glasgow's Blythswood Hotel, was hosted by Still Game's Sanjeev Kohli and River City's Tom Urie will host the event, with guests wrestling star Grado, bestselling author Christopher Brookmyr and panto star Michelle McManus.
Janey Godley had led the nominations, being shortlisted in four categories – Best Compere, Headliner, Show and Podcast – but came away empty-handed.
