Alan Partridge to write a new bestsell-aha
Alan Partridge is to write a new book – a follow-up to his memoirs I, Partridge.
Publisher Orion has bought the rights to publish the title in October next year.
It will be a collection of diary entries, letters, opinion pieces and programme and business ideas, The Bookseller reports.
Like I, Partridge: We Need To Talk About Alan, the new book will be written ‘with help’ from Steve Coogan and Rob and Neil Gibbons.
Neil tweeted today: ‘Alan Partridge's new book (the follow up to I, Partridge) is in the works. Out next year.’
The first book, also co-written by Armando Iannucci, was published by HarperCollins in September 2011 and became a Sunday Times bestseller, with the audiobook, narrated by Coogan, also a hit.
