Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander have been seen filming together, reviving rumours that the comedian’s next project may be some form of Seinfeld reunion.

They were spotted shooting outside Tom’s diner in New York, the restaurant at the heart of Seinfeld sitcom where it was known as Monks. A fan called Ali Phil snapped them at the scene.

Alexander was wearing an outfit described as ‘extremely George Costanza-ish’, while equipment spotted at the restaurant was labelled with the title ‘Comedians’.

The previous night, Seinfeld co-creator Larry David was spotted leaving the same restaurant, adding fuel to the rumour machine.

Seinfeld previously teased a ‘big, huge, gigantic’ project involving David, and yesterday a showbiz website claimed that it was to be a Broadway play, written by David and starring Seinfeld. The news was based on a casual conversation with David at an LA members’ club.
