Dave Gorman is writing a new book called Too Much Information… Or Can Everyone Just Shut Up For A Moment Some Of Us Are Trying To Think – which is due out in June next year. He posted the cover on his website today and said: ‘ It's not a narrative. It's about stuff. Some of it is stuff I've discussed on stage. Some of it isn’t.’

MIRANDA HART is among the 1,000 new entries in the 2014 edition of Who's Who.

CHANNEL 4 is to dedicate a night to The IT Crowd. The schedule will include this year's IT Crowd Special: The Internet is Coming, behind-the-scenes documentary The IT Crowd Manual, and two favourite episodes: one voted by fans and one chosen by creator Graham Linehan. The date of the special night has not yet been announced

JASON BYRNE is to take part in the RTE One panel show Good Year/Bad Year, looking back on the highs and lows of 2013. Mrs Brown's Boys star Rory Cowan is also on the team for the show, which will be recorded in Dublin on December 19.

DAVE COHEN won the £100 for the best Correspondence piece in November for his article on why nearly everybody who does stand-up should, at some point, give up.
