LIVE IN LONDON: The Comedy Store hosts a fundraiser in aid of Philip Goodeve-Docker, who died in April, while attempting to cross the Greenland icecap for charity. It’s hosted by Adam Boom and the strong line-up boasts Jason Manford, Milton Jones, Justin Moorhouse, Patrick Monahan,Jarred Christmas, and Sol Bernstein. All proceeds go to Philip's chosen charity, Queen's Nursing Institute.
Wednesday July 24
LIVE IN BIRMINGHAM: Not often you get to see a comic of Glenn Wool’s calibre for free, but he’s previewing his Edinburgh show The Road Has Tolls at the Fat Penguin club at Birmingham’s Patrick Kavanagh pub tonight – and for gratis. And this close to the Fringe, the show *should* be in pretty good shape.
LIVE IN LONDON: Mat Ricardo’s London Varieties has its last show of the season at the Leicester Square Theatre, with guests including Dave Gorman and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin.
Thursday July 25
LIVE IN DUBLIN: The Vodafone Comedy Festival kicks off in Iveagh Gardens with an unbeatable line-up over the weekend, featuring Tommy Tiernan, Lee Mack, Dylan Moran, John Bishop and Jasons Byrne and Mandford alongside such visitors as Eugene Mirman and Reggie Watts. No show is a dud in these massive marquees.
Saturday July 27
RADIO: Radio 4 Extra rebroadcasts Meera Syal’s Sony-nominated Asian Comedy Night with British Asian comics, online sensation Humza Badman, and Pakistan's first stand-up comedian, Sami Shah. Radio 4 Extra 10pm.
