UK gets CK, series two

Fox to air Louis's sitcom

The Fox channel is to air the second series of Louis CK’s acclaimed sitcom Louie in the UK.

The digital station already airs the Emmy-winning first series, and has today announced that the second will run on from the first when it finishes on April 16.

That night, Fox will air the finale of season one at 10pm, followed by the UK premiere of season two at 10.30pm.

Plotlines in this series include him facing inattentive comedy crowds, insane relatives, and a tour of Afghanistan – plus the notorious scene (below) when he came face-to-face with Dane Cook, who he had (in real life) accused of stealing gags.

Other guest stars in the second series include Joan Rivers and Chris Rock.

Louis CK is in the UK this week for stand-up shows at the O2 tonight and Hammersmith Apollo tomorrow.
