Rizzle Kicks planning a sitcom

'We just want it to be kind of funny '

Rizzle Kicks are working on a TV sitcom.

The 21-year-old rappers say ‘we just want it to be kind of funny and ground breaking’, but would not reveal any more details.

‘I think it's like, TV is a very big world to kind of jump into and you don't want to make a real move, and obviously we're like a large percentage of the creation, writing wise and stuff,’ Jordan Stephens, aka Rizzle, said.

‘We just want to get it right and not make it seem gimmicky.’

His rap partner Harley Alexander-Sule (Sylvester) added: ‘We had kind of like a pilot in the works and then another idea surfaced. So we've had to rethink.’

The duo were speaking to Radio 1‘s Newsbeat before their performance at Give It Up For Comic Relief gig at Wembley Arena last night.
