Russell Brand interrupted a stand-up show after being hit by crippling migrane attack on stage.

The 36-year-old stopped midway through his low-key warm up set at Hollywood’s ComedySportz Theatre, telling the audience: ‘I have a terrible pain. I need pain killers.

‘Sorry about this. I feel nauseous now. I feel sick.’

According to the Mirror, he told the 80 or so audience members that he was in the early stages of a migrane, and went to the side of the stage to take some medication.

Brand – who has just finalised his divorce from Katy Perry, added: ‘I think I’m such a professional showman this is beyond ridiculous stopping to take medication.’
