4.4m watch Miranda
Miranda’s Christmas special proved a huge hit for BBC Two last night, attracting 4.4million viewers.
The sitcom has been a strong performer in the ratings averaging around three million an episode – but last night’s series finale was almost 50 per cent up on that, and 73 per cent higher than BBC Two normally gets in the 8.30pm Monday slot.
Overall, the series averaged 3.2million viewers per episode, up more than 25 per cent on the 2.5million of the first series.
