Cat gets the comedy cream
Simon Amstell, Dara O Briain and acclaimed American double act Pajama Men are among the highlights of this year’s Cat Laughs comedy festival in Kilkenny, organisers have announced.
Other international acts attending the festival – the 16th – include Flight Of The Conchords star Arj Barker, Australian Tom Gleeson and deadpan US act Mark Maron.
The Carlsberg Cat Laughs Festival is held over the Irish bank holiday weekend of June 3 to 7 is known for its party atmosphere and ability to attract visiting international acts.
Among the British comedians invited to perform are Jon Richardson, Danny Bhoy, Sarah Millican, Micky Flanagan, Kevin Bridges and Justin Moorhouse, while the hope-grown Irish line-up includes Des Bishop, David O’Doherty and Ardal O’Hanlon.
