The new show, which has been tried out at London’s National Theatre, takes an 'audience with...’ format as she demonstrates how she mimics celebrties from Anne Robinson to Fiona Bruce.
Despite a 30-year comedy career, Ravens is currently enjoying a higher profile than ever, thanks to appearances on Strictly Come Dancing, and won Celebrity Mastermind.
In 1979, she became the first female president of Cambridge University's Footlights cluband directed their 1981 show , which won the first ever Perrier Award. She moved on to production, including Radio 4's Week Ending, before finding fame as an impressionist on Spitting Image, Alistair McGowan's Big Impressions and Dead Ringers.
The tour – entitled A Funny Look At Impressions – begins in May at the Watford Palace Theatre. Click here for dates.
