Red Dwarf star guilty of assault

John-Jules punched and kicked dustmen

Red Dwarf star Danny John-Jules could face jail after he was found guilty of attacking two dustmen.

The actor punched and kicked father and son Jan and Jaroslaw Lisiecki after they refused to empty his recyling bin, as it contained polysterene.

He marched up the road in Kensal Rise, North-West London, to confront them in February this year.

John-Jules, 47, who played the Cat, had been accused of wielding a 16-inch knife before the attack, but magistrates said there was no evidence of any weapon.

He is due to be sentenced next month.
