Chortle readership soars

Chortle has broken a million page impressions in a month for the first time in its eight-year history.

With the added interest of the Edinburgh Fringe, our servers delivered 1.17million pages over August. That’s up 23 per cent on the 948,000 pages seen in August 2007.

And the number of unique visitors is up 25 per cent year-on-year, too. Last August, we attracted 126,368 visitors; this year it was 158,144.
