New characters unveiled

David Walliams and Matt Lucas have unveiled the characters for the American version of Little Britain.

Little Britain USA will feature pumped-up bodybuilders Tom and Mark, described by Walliams as 'possibly the most outrageous [characters] we've ever done'.

Other new creations include Ellie-Grace, a ‘misguided child beauty pageant hopeful’ with a pushy mother, Deep South boy Conor and his grandmother Mildred, and Bing Gordyn, a former astronaut bitter about the lack of recognition he gets for being the eighth man on the moon.

The show, which will air on HBO from September 28, also features a number of characters from the original BBC series. It will later be screened on BBC Two
