Frostrup accuses panel show

Broadcaster Mariella Frostrup has complained that women are only invited on to be mocked by the ‘testosterone-driven’ team captains, Ian Hislop and Paul Merton.

Frostrup has been on the show twice, but thinks she should have been on more often, claiming she is a ‘very suitable’ candidate.

However, feminist Germaine Greer, who has regularly appeared on the programme, hit back: Mariella might ask herself why they asked her on in the first place. She's not known for being amazingly witty, is she?’
