Smith plans to turn movie into TV show
Will Smith is developing a sitcom based on his 2005 movie Hitch.The Hollywood star played a professional ‘date doctor’ in the romantic comedy, but will not appear in the new TV version.
Instead he is executive producer of the show, being developed by his own production company Overbrook Entertainment.
The sitcom is expected to be pitched to the networks shortly, according to trade paper The Hollywood Reporter.
