Bruno's ready for action
Trade magazine Variety says that the Borat star will shoot the film based on his extravagantly gay fashion reporter character this autumn.
It will then leave him free for his next movie, Dinner for Schmucks, which he signed up to four years ago.
The film, a remake of the French comic hit Le Diner De Cons, is about a Paris publisher who throws a weekly dinner party, challenging his friends to bring the most pathetic guest.
Baron Cohen has just filmed Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd, in which he plays Adolfo Pirelli, a rival to the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, as played by Johnny Depp.
