Mack puts off tour
The star of BBC One’s new sitcom Not Going Out had 15 dates booked between now and December, a continuation of his tour from earlier this year.
His agents, Avalon, promised that all the dates would be rescheduled for 2007.
A spokesman insisted the reason for the postponement was 'nothing major, just a mix of professional and personal commitments converging at the same time'.
As well as his sitcom, Mack will also return to Radio Two soon. The second series of his sketch and stand-up show will be recorded in London from November 7, which is not affected by Mack's decision to postpone the tour.
Meanwhile, Mark Steel has cancelled the first two nights of his run at London’s newly renovated Arts Theatre.
His show about the French revolution was due to run from October 24 to 29 – but will now start on the 26th. For tickets to the remaining days, click here.
