Actor in court over indecent images
Chris Langham has appeared in court charged with 15 counts of making indecent images of children.During the ten-minute commital hearing at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court, the 57-year-old confirmed his name, date of birth and address.
He was then released on unconditional bail to appear at Maidstone Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on November 22.
But he will be at the crown court this Friday in relation to eight counts of indecent assault and a serious sexual offence, all believed to concern one individual.
Langham has announced he will withdraw from all BBC projects pending the outcome of the charges he faces.
He has previously said that he is "determined to clear his name".
In a further statement, he also said he would withdraw from all BBC projects, including the award-winning The Thick Of It, ‘until these matters are resolved’.
