Perrier-winner's new project

Will Adamsdale has revealed his follow-up to his Perrier-winning show Jackson’s Way.

But his new project, The Receipt, is described as ‘cutting-edge theatre’ rather than comedy.

It’s a two-man play, created in collaborated with sonic artist Chris Branch, about a man who loses his job in a ‘chaotic, faceless corporation’ who turns detective when he finds a receipt stuck to his shoe, which he wants to trace back to its owner

Like his 2004 prize-winning Edinburgh debut, this new show is being developed by London’s BAC.

A BAC spokesman said: ‘The Receipt develops themes from the inspired corporate satire of Will’s former alter ego: Chris John Jackson.  However, here comedy gives way to cutting edge theatre.’

The show opens at the South London venue on November 15.
