Billy's back
Billy Connolly has announced a 21-date Scottish tour this spring.
The show are his first live dates in Britain since his run at London’s Hammersmith Apollo last year, when he made his ill-judged comments about executed hostage Ken Bigley.
Despite that, tickets for shows are likely to sell out quickly.
Connolly is combining big venues such as Edinburgh’s 2,200-seater Usher Hall – the first time he’s played the capital in eight years – with small community venues.
The tour will take him to the Shetland and Orkey isles, among other remote locations.
