Audiences go West
Dawn French's new sitcom Wild West has shed a fifth of its viewers in a week.
An estimated 5.3million people tuned into last night's episode, down 1.3million on the opener a week ago.
The sitcom, written by Men Behaving Badly creator Simon Nye, had a lukewarm critical reaction, and attracted complaints from Cornish people about their portrayal.
It was also hit by competition from the football, with Newcastle's Champion's League clash against Dynamo Kiev, attracting more than 6million viewers on ITV1, according to unofficial overnight figures
