Frasier box set released

The complete first series of Frasier is release in a video box set on Monday.

Paramount Video's four-volume set contains all 24 episodes of season one, which first aired in the US in 1993.

The PG-rated tapes are out on Monday, priced £34.99 - although Amazon.co.uk is selling the set for £27.99 (click here to buy)

Kelsey Grammer last month became the highest-paid TV star ever for his role as pompous psychologist Frasier Crane, which he landed almost two decades ago as a Cheers guest slot.

The deal for the 10th and 11th series of the show will net him more than $1.6million an episode.

Grammer has also created a new sitcom, partly based on his own tumultuous life.
he Frasier star has produced and directed a pilot episode of Neurotic Tendencies, but he won't be starring in it.
