New British zom com movie to get its world premiere

Featuring Brian Blessed, Spencer Brown and Ewen MacIntos

A new zombie comedy starring narrated by Brian Blessed  is to have its world premiere at the Sci-Fi-London Film Festival later this year.

Shed of the Dead stars comedian Spencer Brown, Misfits acts Laura Socha and he Office’s  Ewen MacIntosh and revolves around a group of allotment-holders and warmers taking on a horde of the undead rising from beneath their cabbage pathes.

The film will be first screened at  the  18th May at Stratford Picturehouse in London on May 18 for the festival and will then be available on digital download from May 20.

Producer Nicholas David Lean  said: ‘We’re all delighted to finally be able to showcase Shed of the Dead to fans of independent British comedy horror. We hope you all have as much fun watching it as we did making it!"

Brown has previously appeared in a number of TV  comedies including Nathan Barley, Man to Man with Dean Learner, and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, 

Many of the cast will be attending the festival screening. Tickets will be available through sci-fi-london.com
