Comic Ronny Chieng is writing a martial arts comedy film to be produced by Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman.
The Malaysian-born stand-up, who came to comedy in Australia before settling in the US, will collaborate on the film with Sebastian DiNatale.
DiNatale directed Chieng's segments on The Daily Show With Trevor Noah and his Netflix stand-up special, Asian Comedian Destroys America!
Details of the title, plot and cast of the film – to be released by Sony Pictures – have yet to be revealed, according to The Hollywood Reporter,
