Here are some of the highlights from last night’s Chortle Awards, hosted in central by Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Felicity Ward.

The footage includes acceptance speeches from Bob Mortimer, Steve Pemberton & Reece Shearsmith, Chris McCausland, Phil Ellis, Michael Odewale and Jin Hao Li.

Plus Jon Culshaw and Jan Ravens pay tribute to the late Bill Dare, the producer and originator of so many Radio 4 comedies, including their show, Dead Ringers. Dare, who died earlier this month in an accident abroad, was honoured with the offstage contribution award.
